These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the championship competitions, events, assessments, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) organised by AcademyChamp (“Organizer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our platform (the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, registering for a championship, or participating in any competition, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

  • 1.1 Student Participants

    • Participation in championships is limited to eligible students who meet the specific age, academic level, or qualification requirements stated for each competition.

    1.2 Parental/Guardian Consent

    If a participant is under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction), a parent or legal guardian must provide verifiable consent prior to registration and participation.

    1.3 School or Institutional Participation

    Where participation is facilitated by a school or educational institution, the institution confirms it has authority to register students and agrees to comply with these Terms.

    2. Account Registration and Security

    2.1 Account Creation

    Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You agree to update your information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.

    2.2 Account Responsibility

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

    2.3 Unauthorized Access

    You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of misuse.

    3. Championship Registration and Participation

    3.1 Registration Process

    Participation requires successful completion of the registration process, payment of applicable fees (if any), and acceptance of all competition rules.

    3.2 Competition Rules

    Each championship may have specific rules, eligibility criteria, scoring guidelines, timelines, and procedures. Such rules form part of these Terms and are binding on participants.

    3.3 Code of Conduct

    Participants agree to:

    • Act honestly and ethically;
    • Refrain from cheating, plagiarism, or unauthorized collaboration;
    • Respect other participants, judges, and officials;
    • Comply with all competition instructions.

    Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in disqualification, suspension, forfeiture of awards, or permanent ban from future events.

    4. Fees and Payments

    4.1 Registration Fees

    Certain championships may require payment of registration or participation fees. All fees are stated in the applicable currency and are payable in advance.

    4.2 Refund Policy

    Fees are generally non-refundable except where:

    • The event is cancelled by the Organizer; or
    • Refund is required under applicable law.

    Refund requests must be submitted in writing within the stated timeline.

    5. Intellectual Property

    5.1 Platform Content

    All content on the Platform—including text, questions, assessments, logos, graphics, videos, competition materials, and software— is owned by or licensed to the Organizer and is protected by intellectual property laws.

    5.2 Limited License

    Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use materials solely for personal educational purposes and participation in the championship.

    5.3 Participant Submissions

    By submitting answers, essays, projects, or other materials, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and publish such submissions for administrative, promotional, or educational purposes.

    6. Data Protection and Privacy

    We are committed to protecting personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data collected may include:

    • Name and contact information;
    • Date of birth and academic level;
    • School or institution details;
    • Assessment results and performance data.

    Personal data will be processed solely for competition administration, communication, performance analysis, certification, and related purposes.

    7. Media Release

    By participating, participants (and parents/guardians where applicable) grant the Organizer permission to use names, photographs, videos, competition results, and testimonials for promotional, educational, and reporting purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

    8. Disqualification and Enforcement

    We reserve the right to:

    • Investigate suspected misconduct;
    • Invalidate scores or results;
    • Disqualify participants;
    • Suspend or terminate accounts;
    • Revoke awards or certifications.

    Decisions of the Organizer and appointed judges are final, except where appeal mechanisms are expressly provided.

    9. Awards and Prizes

    Prizes, scholarships, certificates, or recognitions are subject to:

    • Verification of eligibility;
    • Compliance with competition rules;
    • Completion of required documentation.

    The Organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value where necessary.

    10. Platform Availability

    We aim to provide continuous access to the Platform, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

    We are not liable for delays or disruptions caused by:

    • Internet connectivity issues;
    • Technical failures;
    • Force majeure events;
    • Third-party service interruptions.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for:

    • Indirect or consequential losses;
    • Loss of opportunity or reputation;
    • Technical malfunctions beyond our control.

    Our total liability shall not exceed the registration fee paid for the relevant championship.

    12. Indemnification

    Participants, parents/guardians, and institutions agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

    • Breach of these Terms;
    • Violation of applicable laws;
    • Misconduct during participation.

    13. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons.

    Upon termination, rights granted under these Terms shall immediately cease.

    14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    These Terms shall be governed by the laws of .

    Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through:

    1. Good faith negotiation;

    3. Submission to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of .
